The Essential Duties of a HAACP COORDINATOR include:
- Maintaining our current HAACP Plan
- Making improvements and additional provisions, in time, to the plan
- Ensuring the plan is observed by all employees
- Ensuring facilities are maintained in accordance with the plan
FIRST YEAR OF JOB
- Expect an intern-like experience. The new HAACP Coordinator will work directly with our current plant manager
- The role will be learned over time as the HAACP Coordinator works within our plant in various roles which may include, inventory and dock work, computer training, product assembly, sanitation, general maintenance, and customer service

- Once fully acclimated, the HAACP Coordinator will take full responsibility as HAACP Coordinator
Qualifications & Experience:
- College degree - strongly preferred
- Two years experience in similar HAACP role.
- College degree - strongly preferred
- Two years experience in similar HAACP role.
- Strong preference toward candidates with food production and/or HAACP experience
Skills Required:
- Comfortable learning new computer systems.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and G-Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Well organized and able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills- Focus on solving conflict without blame, listening to staff to get to the root of issues, Maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to perform limited production staff duties.
- Picking items from stock in coolers and freezers,
- Working for extended periods in coolers and freezers
- Handling and processing raw meat and seafood
- Lifting and moving heavy meat boxes.
- Working with production equipment for food safety verification.
